This very special bowl was fired in a wood-burning kiln for nearly 5 days straight. A team of 10 potters took it in shifts to stoke the flames every 15-20 minutes, day and night. The wood ash influenced the glaze to create many unique colors and textures. The rim is slightly warped from the intensity of the firing, hence the discount.
