One very important note: you must NOT preheat the oven when using apple bakers. Assemble your ingredients first in a room temperature apple baker, then place in a cool oven so the porcelain can warm slowly with the oven. Placing a room temp baker in a hot oven will cause thermal shock and your apple baker will break :(
